Our Roots

Ruiz Barbacoa & Tamales is a family run business and is the 3rd food business started by current owners, Daniel and Lydia Saenz. We started this business in 2006 with one goal in mind: provide  authentic South Texas Mexican delicacies to the Corpus Christi area. Thanks to our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to become masters of the craft. Providing dishes that are fresh, delicious and simply unforgettable. We use only real ingredients and still do things the old fashioned way.
